(List) TOP 31 HARDCORE PUNK ALBUMS OF 2020

Man, oh man, what a great year for hardcore punk releases. Easily eclipsing the other heavy genres/sub-genres in terms of quality albums in 2020, The Mighty Decibel names its top 31 hardcore punk albums of the year.


Why 31 you ask? Because there were 31 albums that ranked as 8 out of 10 or higher on our scale, so all of 'em needed to be included on our year end list!


Oh yeah, by the way, in our lexicon we include d-beat, grind, power violence, hardcore etc. under the hardcore punk banner. Our Hard'N'Heavy (trad metal, hard rock, melodic rock/metal, punk rock, etc.) and Extreme Metal (death, black, thrash, etc.) end-of-year lists to follow ... (our Doom list was already published)!
